Surgery #2 Now Set

Dr Malhan came by today and said that Kim is doing so well, they've tentatively schedule her second hip resurfacing for Saturday morning. We didn't know exactly what to expect but we are very excited. Now we know more how to pray. As Bill Riley commented on my earlier blog, "Git Er Done." Praise God. He just continues to work through these kind and skilled folks to do amazing things.

Hello David,
I just read your blog for the first time. I read it backwards to understand the process you and Kim have gone through. Wow! I am so amazed and awed by yours and Kim's trust in God and bravery to go so far to do this. You, David, are a good husband! Praise God for blessings! So glad to hear that Kim made it through that first surgery so well. Prayers will continue here for the upcoming second surgery. To God be the Glory!

Hello to both of you. I did exactly what Mary Lou did. Started from the first post and read up to today's post. Skip and I are remembering you two and all of your family in our prayers daily. So glad to hear that things are going so well. God is so good!
Look forward to hearing more of this story, so keep the posts coming.

Peace and blessgins!

Great to hear that things are going well. We'll keep praying and I'll let our church know; they like answered prayer stories. I read that you brought a Texan's jersey with you; what's the matter, afraid you couldn't get enough sympathy just being there?

Dave and Kim,
I been praying all the time. Nice to know our God works so wonderfully. Kim you look just beautiful with that fantastic smile you have on your face. Dont remember seeing it like that last time. I just remember seeing pain in your eyes. So again surgery will be saturday our time or yours. I kinda like to pray extra more during the surgery. I never know what time it is where you are when i call. So when will the surgery be my time. Silly me huh.
I pray for complete recovery. So you can climb them mountains and swim those seas He gave us to enjoy. Love you both. Do so enjoy the calls. Love you so
Hook Em Horns all the way across the ocean. ha ha

Kim, you are walking so STRAIGHT. I am thrilled to hear the only pain now is in the hip that's left. Praise the Lord for His leading and His children who listen! You BOTH are a walking testimony. David, the boys have done nearly all of the surgeries on EdHead! I am going to send the link to our homeschool group; they would absolutely love it! The kids and I are praying for the two of you--that you will continue to experience more of God's power and care than you've ever known. I believe that there is a divine purpose for every leg of this journey. Hallelujah! Love you both! Kristen
