Where Am I?
I've had a number of folks ask me on the phone lately, what happened to your blog? Well, my blog is still there, I just haven't been blogging lately. It's probably just the ordinaryness, (is that a word?) of life I guess that leaves me not blogging or I just got out of the habit. I thought once you had done something for 21 days or something you established a habit but I guess not.
It couldn't be the summertime blues because we really haven't hit full summer here in H-town. We had some hot temps early but lately its been pretty darned nice. We actually had a cold front, as much as you can call it cold in late June. But the humidity went way down and the breeze came out of the north for a few days but I'm certain we'll be back to normal before long. Actually, its one of the things I love about our town, warm and balmy.
Headed for vacation in a few days. Maybe, if I have access I'll blog about how different it is in NY south, er that is Florida. The fam and I, missing the son-in-law cause he's got a new job, will be in south FL for a week. It's a timeshare thing which we have really enjoyed. It'll be low on the activity scaled this time. No diving, just beach time and down time and maybe a trip to Key West.
The girl from NY can get out of the rain, the boy & wife & 1/4 from Big-D can get out of their depression over the great collapse in the NBA finals. Big J can get away from the church office for a few days and see his gal. The bride and I will just vegitate and enjoy.
How bout them Astros!
